On a golden autumn day on September 15th, 2023, the school held a foreign teachers conference with the theme of "Changes and Challenges".
The newly appointed foreign teacher supervisors shared their departments' work plans for this semester and scrutinized the countermeasures and changes made in response to different challenges in their work.
We also invited three exemplary and excellent foreign teachers from different departments to share their teaching designs,which included advanced student-centered educational concepts and scientific teaching design theories that aim to inspire students to think and study more profoundly.
Concluding the conference, Principal Fan Shengwu ascended the podium to deliver a keynote speech, expressing high appreciation for the foreign teacher team and his high expectations.
To begin with, Principal Fan extended a hearty welcome to all new foreign teachers, and he expressed his thanks to foreign teachers who have brought different cultures and perspectives from all over the world to the 21st family, which help broadened students' horizons.
At the same time, Principal Fan expressed his hope that our domestic English teachers would actively communicate with the foreign teaching team, break the boundaries of English lessons taught by Chinese and foreign teachers, and provide students with a better and more systematic English curriculum.
In his closing remarks, Principal Fan emphasized that as a teacher in China, every individual should respect Chinese culture, abide by the teaching management requirements, and be a good and responsible teacher.
Wonderful Activities
After this round of conference and team building activities, our foreign teacher team enhanced mutual understanding and improved team morale and cohesion. It is believed that in the future work, in the face of various changes, our team of foreign teachers will be able to brave the wind and waves without fear of challenges!
